This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Application Architect - REMOTE. In this role, you will have a significant impact on improving health outcomes for millions of members by designing and implementing robust software systems. You'll lead architectural visions for services, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and high-performing. As part of a diverse technology team, you'll collaborate closely with other engineering teams to create solutions that meet business and client needs, all while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Accountabilities

  • Lead application architecture vision for services using AWS Serverless technology stacks.
  • Define architecture and requirements necessary to meet business objectives.
  • Implement event-driven architecture with internal applications and third-party integrations.
  • Conduct security reviews and assessments to adhere to all security policies and standards.
  • Design and document disaster recovery plans for solutions and ensure CI/CD deployments are in line with technology standards.
  • Investigate third-party integrations and develop architecture for interoperability.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to meet key requirements.
  • Deliver both high-level and detailed design for platform services.
  • Author clean, modular, and secure code as needed.
  • Design and implement microservices with well-defined APIs.
  • Ensure deployed software is instrumented and operates safely.
  • Own design software/service components from ideation through delivery.
  • Communicate architecture decisions and timelines to stakeholders.
  • Review system code and provide feedback to engineering teams.
  • Mentor and develop skills within engineering teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field.
  • 4-6 years of related experience or equivalent practical knowledge.
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Familiarity with AWS Serverless and managed services.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD technologies (e.g., GitHub).
  • Proficiency in JSON and Python.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate excellent decision-making.
