This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Communications Manager based in the United States.
This is a high-impact, embedded communications leadership role supporting a major global client within a complex, matrixed environment. You will act as the central owner of all member-facing communications, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strategic alignment across every touchpoint. From digital campaigns to in-app messaging and traditional channels, your work directly shapes how members understand and engage with their health benefits. You will operate as a senior advisor to client stakeholders while driving end-to-end communications planning, execution, and optimization. This role blends strategy, editorial leadership, and operational rigor in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Your ability to connect messaging strategy with measurable engagement outcomes will be key to success in driving both client satisfaction and member impact.
Accountabilities:
Own and manage the full lifecycle of member-facing communications across all channels, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Lead communications strategy and planning by translating program goals into integrated, multi-channel messaging calendars and campaign frameworks.
- Serve as the primary communications lead for a dedicated global client, acting as a trusted advisor on messaging strategy, timing, and execution.
- Partner closely with client stakeholders to align on priorities, brand governance standards, and upcoming communications needs.
- Oversee end-to-end quality assurance, including proofreading, audience validation, link accuracy, and brand compliance before client submission.
- Provide editorial and creative direction to cross-functional teams including writers, designers, and campaign managers.
- Apply performance data, engagement analytics, and behavioral insights to continuously refine communications strategy and improve effectiveness.
- Maintain operational systems and tools such as campaign trackers, SharePoint, Zendesk, and internal communication platforms to ensure transparency and workflow efficiency.
- Drive process discipline and reduce revision cycles by improving planning rigor, alignment, and internal communication governance.
- Leverage AI and emerging communication tools to enhance content creation, optimization, and reporting while applying strong editorial judgment.
- Proven ability to own multi-channel communications strategies across high-volume environments with multiple stakeholders and approval layers.
- Experience working in client-embedded or account-based roles, ideally supporting large-scale enterprise or Fortune-level organizations.
- Strong editorial, messaging, and content development skills with the ability to guide tone, structure, and clarity across channels.
- Experience using engagement analytics and performance data to inform communication planning and content optimization.
- Familiarity with enterprise communication tools such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CMS platforms, Zendesk, SharePoint, and Viva Engage.
- Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills, with the ability to influence senior client partners and cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail with strong QA, proofreading, and brand governance capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Experience in health, wellness, benefits, or related industries is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience applying generative AI tools to content creation, optimization, or workflow improvement is a plus.
- Competitive base salary aligned with experience and market standards ($115,000 – $130,000 USD range)

Requirements:
7+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or client-facing content strategy roles, ideally within complex, matrixed or enterprise environments.
