This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Developer, Source to Pay based in India.
This role sits at the intersection of finance transformation and data engineering, focused on building scalable digital solutions that optimize Source-to-Pay processes across global enterprise environments. You will design and implement end-to-end data integration workflows connecting ERP systems, procurement platforms, and finance applications, enabling better visibility, efficiency, and automation. The position combines technical depth in data engineering with a strong understanding of financial and accounting processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions and deliver impactful dashboards, integrations, and automated workflows. The environment is highly analytical, fast-paced, and focused on continuous improvement of finance operations through technology. Accountabilities:
- Design and implement data integration solutions connecting ERP systems, procurement platforms, and other enterprise applications
- Develop scalable ETL workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery across financial and operational datasets
- Build and maintain automated processes using Python, RPA tools, or low-code platforms to reduce manual effort and improve data quality
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical architecture and solutions
- Design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to enable self-service analytics
- Conduct testing and validation of data pipelines, integrations, and analytics solutions to ensure accuracy and performance
- Support deployment, version control, documentation, and maintenance of digital finance solutions across environments
- Monitor and optimize existing systems to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across Source-to-Pay processes and digital finance transformation
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in finance transformation, consulting, data engineering, or related roles
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts along with ERP systems
- Hands-on experience with ETL development and programming languages such as Python, SQL, R, or SAS
- Experience with data integration tools such as Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric
- Certified in Microsoft Fabric (preferred or required depending on profile)
- Strong experience in dashboarding tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Strong communication skills with ability to present insights and solutions to technical and executive audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in fast-paced consulting or client-facing environments
- Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and structured thinking
