As an integral member of the VillageMD Finance team, you will support our Village Medical Senior Manager of Finance and Corporate Director of Finance with managing corporate reporting with budgeting and forecasting.  In this role, you will experience a broad exposure to many areas within VillageMD and the opportunity to learn in grow in a fast paced and explosively growing entity.

How you can make a difference

  • Update and publish standard monthly analytics on financial performance of Village Medical versus key industry benchmarks
  • Create and review reporting of invoices and monthly reporting from the general ledger  
  • Support Village Medical finance function with adhoc financial analysis and reporting needs
  • Provide technical support to regional finance leaders with the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Assist Finance managers with creation of budget and forecasting templates
  • Build and maintain a financial process improvement plan that will drive continuous financial improvement across Village Medical
  • Assist in completion of compensation reconciliations
  • Work with analytics team and compensation team to ensure we have and maintain a central database to capture key employment terms for providers
  • Assist accounting and senior managers with monthly close process as needed
  • Assist accounting with monthly review and attend meetings to help ensure all data is reflected accurately

Experience to drive change

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role (healthcare experience preferred)
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-growing company
  • Experience and interest in researching solutions for problems encountered
  • A desire to drive results, execute on tasks, and prioritize deadlines
  • A desire to innovate and improve, and build relationships internally and externally
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required

For Colorado Residents only: The target hiring compensation range for this role is $80,000 to $95,000. At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role may be eligible for annual/quarterly bonus incentives (if applicable), and the selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan with company match.
