This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, Home Experience based in the United States.

As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, Home Experience, you will help shape and enhance one of the most highly trafficked user experiences on the web. This role focuses on building intuitive, scalable, and engaging frontend experiences that serve millions of users every day. Working at the intersection of product, design, and engineering, you will lead the development of impactful features while contributing to technical strategy and platform evolution. You will collaborate with talented cross-functional teams, drive engineering excellence, and influence the direction of large-scale web applications. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced frontend engineer who is passionate about user experience, performance, innovation, and solving complex technical challenges at scale.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver high-quality frontend features and experiences that improve user engagement and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to transform ideas into scalable solutions.
  • Own the complete software development lifecycle for major initiatives, including architecture, implementation, testing, experimentation, deployment, and performance analysis.
  • Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and help drive improvements in scalability, maintainability, and developer productivity.
  • Review code, provide technical feedback, and mentor engineers to support team growth and engineering excellence.
  • Establish and promote frontend best practices, coding standards, and efficient development workflows.
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to define roadmaps and prioritize initiatives aligned with business and product objectives.
  • Drive a culture of data-informed decision-making, operational excellence, monitoring, and system observability.
  • Work closely with backend and client engineering teams to deliver seamless, high-performance user experiences across platforms.
  • Requirements

    • Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on frontend engineering.
    • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6, and modern web development practices.
    • Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, Lit, Polymer, or similar technologies.
    • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design principles, and modern user interface development.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain large-scale web applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and usability.
    • Strong user-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
    • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
    • Experience collaborating effectively in remote, distributed, and cross-functional environments.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Familiarity with APIs and web technologies such as GraphQL, REST, HTTP, and related integration patterns is preferred.
    • Experience working with high-traffic applications, large-scale systems, and performance optimization techniques is highly desirable.
    • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in fast-paced product environments.
