About the role

Agility Robotics is looking for a Senior Manager Quality with experience developing, implementing, and maintaining a quality management system focused on customer satisfaction and compliance. The role will drive and manage quality throughout the value chain (customer, manufacturing, supply, and design) spanning the product life cycle. The part will drive quality planning, control, and assurance as we scale into our new factory. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Customer/Service Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Compliance, and Engineering. You will tackle challenging and novel situations by applying effective problem-solving methodology while fostering and enabling a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. About the work

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system and policies
  • Develop, implement, and provide regular reporting on quality metrics
  • Manage quality planning, processes, and resourcesĀ 
  • Ensure products and services adhere to company and industry quality standards
  • Champion and drive quality and continuous improvement across the organization
  • Collaborate with relevant teams and departments to improve products and processes
  • Grow and develop a diverse team with quality and technical backgrounds
  • Implement methods to inspect, test, evaluate, and analyze products and product quality
  • Implement and maintain the cost of the quality programĀ 
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
  • Enhance and mature quality policies to support part and supplier approval and qualification processes
  • Train, coach, develop, and evaluate the performance of quality staff

About You

The successful candidate should be an excellent coach, mentor, communicator, and leader with extensive quality management experience. Additional qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering/science/robotics or related fieldĀ 
  • 10+ years of quality management experience working with complex products
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in product quality (hardware, electrical, or electromechanical systems and products)
  • 5+ years managing technical teams, including hiring, coaching, and developing talentĀ 
  • Extensive experience and training in quality approaches (Six Sigma, TQM, Lean, Agile)
  • Well-versed in quality problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis (8D, 5Why, A3, etc.)
  • Experience in risk assessment methodologies (FMEA, HARA, NUDD)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsĀ 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environmentĀ 
  • Strong mathematical and statistical analysis skillsĀ
