Job Description

Team: Business Development

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) Lead based in the United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional to lead the development of a scalable outbound pipeline strategy while remaining hands-on in prospecting and pipeline generation. The role combines strategic planning with day-to-day execution, allowing you to influence go-to-market initiatives and collaborate closely with marketing and sales leadership. You will engage technical decision-makers, optimize messaging, build repeatable outbound processes, and contribute directly to revenue growth. As the outbound function expands, you will play a key role in documenting best practices and helping shape the future of the team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, enjoys working with modern sales technologies, and is passionate about driving measurable business impact.

Accountabilities

  • Own and execute both inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting initiatives to generate a consistent pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
  • Identify target accounts, develop buying committees, and engage technical stakeholders through personalized multi-channel outreach, including cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn engagement.
  • Schedule qualified meetings for the Account Executive team while maintaining responsibility for pipeline performance and conversion metrics.
  • Monitor and optimize funnel performance, maintain CRM accuracy, and continuously improve campaign effectiveness using data-driven insights.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to refine ideal customer profiles, strengthen messaging, and provide market feedback that improves campaign performance.
  • Build, test, and scale outbound workflows using modern sales and AI-powered prospecting tools.
  • Document processes, establish repeatable outbound playbooks, and contribute to the development and future coaching of a growing SDR team.
  • Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a B2B technology Sales Development role, with cybersecurity industry experience considered an advantage.
    • Demonstrated success creating outbound prospecting strategies that consistently generate qualified pipeline and revenue opportunities.
    • Strong experience engaging senior technical stakeholders, including CTOs, engineering leaders, security professionals, and developers.
    • Excellent cold calling, written communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Experience building outbound campaigns from the ground up rather than solely executing existing playbooks.
    • Familiarity with AI-powered workflows, CRM platforms, and sales engagement technologies.
    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate performance metrics and optimize outreach strategies.
    • Highly organized, self-driven, and comfortable operating independently in a remote environment.
    • Experience selling technical SaaS products, developer-focused solutions, identity, authentication, or cybersecurity platforms is preferred.
    • Previous exposure to coaching teammates or supporting SDR team development is considered a plus.
    • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
    • Benefits

      • On-target earnings ranging from $90,000 to $115,000, including base salary and performance-based variable compensation.
      • Commission plan featuring per-meeting incentives, performance accelerators, and monthly bonus opportunities.
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with substantial employer contributions.
      • Fully employer-funded High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) option with Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions.
      • Company-paid life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage.
      • Optional additional life insurance coverage.
      • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare and Dependent Care).
      • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
      • Generous paid time off and paid company holidays.
      • Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
      • Professional learning and career development opportunities.
      • Remote work flexibility within the United States.
      • Reimbursement of reasonable travel and accommodation expenses for onsite interviews when applicable.
