About The Role:

Sales Strategy & Operations at Motive drives the strategy, execution, and scale of Motive’s revenue growth.  Our work is cross-functional and touches nearly every part of our business - from what we sell, to whom, and how. 

We are seeking a Sr. Sales Operations Analyst who will be responsible for leading quarterly and annual planning initiatives to maximize revenue growth.  You will work with senior management, Finance, and Sales on financial planning, capacity modeling, and other critical projects to support future growth.  Your ability to think strategically, adapt quickly, and get things done will earn credibility with all levels of the organization.  This role will report to the Senior Director of Central Operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage quarterly and annual planning initiatives for the Sales Strategy & Operations org.
  • Partner with segment sales operations and finance to build capacity models, measure AE productivity, and to identify opportunities for investment and growth.
  • Build out the planning calendar, identify dependencies, and coordinate all planning activities with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quotas
  • Track performance drivers, forecasts, and KPIs that are inputs to the planning process and align with cross-functional teams on key initiatives and assumptions
  • Build scenario models to size impact of new programs and strategic initiatives on quotas
  • Establish sales quotas for the entire sales organization and optimize sales incentive design.

What We're Looking For:

  • BA/BS degree in a quantitative field such as Engineering or Mathematics is preferred
  • 3+ years of work experience in sales operations or finance with prior experience in quota setting and capacity modeling 
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving unique business problems
  • Advanced knowledge of excel with proven ability to build complex models is required. Intermediate knowledge of SQL preferred 
  • Excellent communicator who is capable of building relationships and delivering compelling presentations to senior leaders.
