Job Description

Fearless is looking for a Senior SharePoint Designer to add to our diverse team of 250+ employees (and counting!).

What you’ll be doing

  • Work closely with customers to design solutions to meet business needs by leading information gathering sessions to understand customer requirements, demonstrates knowledge of client’s issues, industry, and business operations.
  • Design and build web portals and web sites to facilitate knowledge and collaboration of directorate products, services, and capabilities.
  • Oversee directorate level governance of web and information management and customer support policies.
  • Develop workflow and custom extensions, provide in-depth technical knowledge, manage groups, create web parts, lists, and libraries, subsites supporting enterprise-wide deployment.
  • Establish architectural and development standards around SharePoint solution.
  • Train customers in the use, administration, and customization of the solution Configure and troubleshoot SharePoint issues including workflows, permission issues, dataflow, web form, and collaboration enablement. 
  • Determine most suitable presentation method, visual elements, and programmatic objects that meet design and business objectives.
  • Design, develop, and implement business applications using current technologies and architecture.
  • Create integrated work product between SharePoint and identified Enterprise web services. 
  • Apply designated configuration control and software and functional testing Provide engineering and training documentation to the customer, as requested.

  • Contributes to Fearless’ product design community and fosters positive collaboration across the company.

Functional Role 

The Senior SharePoint Designer shall possess the following capabilities:

  • Manage SharePoint site-collection architecture and administration.
  • Serve as lead technical role designing business software solutions.
  • Apply concepts, develops, tests, maintain and supports high-performance, innovative web based applications and workflows to satisfy customer requirements
  • Develop JavaScript to include and support Collaboration in a multiuser SharePoint environment supporting core business processes/functions
  • Responsible for SharePoint site-development using SharePoint Designer, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Support end users with SharePoint help and problem resolution.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Competencies  

Must-Have Skills

  • Ten (10) years of experience in software development and software project management in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Experience must include Five (5) years SharePoint development.
  • Active S/SCI clearance
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Applied Computer Science, or Business Technology from an accredited college or university is required or Five (5) years of additional in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position, for a total of Fifteen (15) years, may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

Icing-on-the-Cake Skills 

  • Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of agile methodologies and how to apply those principles in practice.
  • Experience supporting a digital product from conception to release.
