  • Oversee day-to-day platform administration, including configuration, user management, platform health, upgrades, release planning, and performance optimization.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of custom ServiceNow applications, including design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement planning.
  • Lead medium-to-large ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects, managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, vendors, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize backlogs, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal security, governance, privacy, and change management requirements while supporting audits and authorization activities.
  • Monitor platform KPIs, service performance, and operational metrics while driving quality assurance, code reviews, and continuous platform optimization.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
    • 10+ years of experience in IT project management, solution delivery, or enterprise technology leadership.
    • 6+ years of hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform in enterprise environments.
    • 4+ years of experience serving as a ServiceNow technical architect or platform lead.
    • 4+ years of experience leading ServiceNow development, administration, or operations teams.
    • Strong expertise in ServiceNow architecture, configuration, workflows, business rules, integrations, scripting (JavaScript/Glide), and custom application development.
    • Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM and one or more of ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or IRM/GRC.
    • Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server, CI/CD pipelines, update sets, release management, and modern API integration patterns.
    • Proven experience managing Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
    • Familiarity with federal security frameworks and compliance standards, including FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53.
    • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
    • Preferred certifications include ServiceNow CSA, CIS, Certified Technical Architect, ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or SAFe.
    • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain or maintain a NOAA Public Trust clearance are required.
    • Benefits:
