Showroom Consultant (Plumbing)

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Showroom Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in retail, sales, and design, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. As a Showroom Consultant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experience and driving sales through your expertise in lighting design and interior design. Commission: 6% Gross Profit/Profit Sharing Responsibilities • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. • Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and make informed recommendations. • Demonstrate proficiency in lighting design concepts to assist clients in selecting appropriate products. • Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently during transactions. • Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. • Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of products to attract customers. • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance store performance. • Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide informed guidance to clients. Requirements • Proven experience in retail or sales environment is preferred. (2-3 years) • Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse clientele; multilingual abilities are a plus. • Familiarity with retail math, basic math skills, and cash register operations. • Knowledge of lighting design principles and interior design concepts is highly desirable. • Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience. • A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to changing environments. • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
