This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Director, Finance based in the United States.

This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of finance strategy, operational performance, and business growth within a dynamic, mission-driven organization focused on transforming health and wellbeing outcomes at scale. The Sr. Director of Finance will act as a key strategic partner to the Wellbeing business, helping translate complex operational drivers into financial insight and decision-making that shapes long-term direction. This role combines hands-on financial leadership with high-level influence across cross-functional teams, including commercial, product, and operations. You will oversee financial planning, pricing strategy, and performance analytics for a fast-growing services business with global reach. The position requires strong analytical capability paired with the ability to operate in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will play a central role in optimizing margins, improving efficiency, and enabling scalable growth through data-driven decisions. This is a high-impact role where finance directly informs both customer experience and business outcomes.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead financial planning and analysis activities for the Wellbeing business, ensuring alignment between operational performance, growth objectives, and margin targets.
  • Develop and own pricing frameworks, financial models, and unit economics to support RFPs, renewals, and client-specific proposals.
  • Partner with Wellbeing leadership to track performance metrics, identify cost drivers, and drive operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Oversee financial modeling for strategic initiatives, including investment decisions in tools, staffing, and service delivery improvements.
  • Evaluate vendor contracts and outsourcing arrangements to ensure scalability, cost efficiency, and financial sustainability.
  • Define, monitor, and interpret key KPIs related to engagement, retention, participation, and profitability to support executive decision-making.
  • Serve as a key member of cross-functional leadership teams, contributing to strategic planning and business transformation initiatives.
  • Support pricing strategy development in collaboration with commercial and product teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and market positioning.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
    • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, ideally within complex, service-based, or platform-driven businesses.
    • Strong background in financial planning, forecasting, pricing strategy, and operational finance.
    • Experience supporting commercial decision-making, including RFPs, renewals, and enterprise client proposals.
    • Familiarity with financial systems such as NetSuite and planning tools such as Anaplan is preferred.
    • Strong analytical and modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
    • Ability to translate complex financial data into clear strategic insights for executive stakeholders.
    • Proven leadership skills with experience working across cross-functional, distributed teams.
    • Comfortable leveraging AI and automation tools to improve financial analysis and reporting efficiency.
    • Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
