Sr. Director, Strategic Alliances
Job Description
PagerDuty is seeking a Senior Director, Strategic Alliances with strong deal-making, strategy and relationship management skills to expand our partner ecosystem and drive growth. The ideal candidate will have experience launching and scaling strategic alliance go-to-market programs with a focus on consulting and technology partners.
Responsibilities:
- Drive growth and increase revenue through joint go-to-market initiatives with key partners
- Establish and communicate PagerDuty's value proposition to partners through various channels such as webinars, training, events, and other communications
- Work closely with the VP of Partnerships to develop and execute the strategic alliance strategy both internally and externally
- Develop marketing and sales collateral to support the strategic alliance partnerships
- Foster strong relationships with the sales organizations of key partners to drive pipeline generation
- Collaborate with various teams across PagerDuty, including Sales, Marketing, Services, Operations, and more, to drive cross-functional initiatives
- Utilize strong analytical skills to determine the success of go-to-market initiatives and make data-driven decisions
- Accurately forecast partner influenced revenue using Salesforce
- Serve as the voice of PagerDuty to partners and the voice of partners to PagerDuty to resolve issues and attain revenue
Basic Qualifications:
- Proven track record of driving results and revenue through strategic alliances and exceptional relationship management and partner development skills
- 12+ years of experience in business development and strategic alliances
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with executives, product managers, engineers, lawyers, and security professionals
- Ability to build relationships with people across all levels and organizations, both internally and externally
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS degree, MBA or Master’s degree is a plus
- Comfortable with weekly travel
- Highly organized with attention to detail and follow-up
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
The base salary range for this position is 187,000 - 286,000 USD. This role may also be eligible for bonus, commission, equity, and/or benefits.
Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range, which is subject to change based on primary work location, reflects the minimum and maximum base salary we expect to pay newly hired employees for the position. Within the range, we determine pay for an individual based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills/competencies and experience.
