Meet the Fuel Sales & Accounts Team:
The Fuel Sales & Accounts Team supports Upside’s largest industry vertical, with over 30,000 merchants across 48 states. We have 4 of the top 10 Fuel Brands as our preferred partners, along with many top U.S. wholesalers, marketers, and convenience store franchise groups. Even as we expand into new verticals, fuel is integral to our growth strategy, new market launch plans, and product development.
What you'll do:
- Lead the partner relationships for assigned brand, franchise, and/or Fuel wholesaler accounts across the U.S.
- Proactively manage existing Upside accounts to identify and implement new growth opportunities using relationship building and benefits selling
- Collaborate effectively with internal Upside teams, including Product Marketing and Operations, to ensure a positive and consistent merchant experience
- Maintain a deep understanding of Upside’s outstanding features and demonstrate the value to merchants
- Work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, while delivering elite results and continuously challenging yourself
What you need:
- 7+years of client-facing experience in the retail fuels industry, and a Bachelor’s degree required
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with experience communicating across all levels of an enterprise organization (including but not limited to both formal and casual audiences)
- Polished consultative sales background, with experience turning client needs into solutions
- Ability to work effectively in a highly-collaborative and fast-paced environment with both in-office and fully remote team members. The ideal candidate will have experience performing at a high-level within time constraints
- Experience operating sales technology tools (e.g. Salesforce, Outreach, Gong), as well as Google-Suite and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
