Job Description
PagerDuty is looking for a Strategic Alliance Director with strong deal-making, strategy, and relationship management experience to grow our partnership ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have experience launching and scaling strategic alliance go-to-market programs with a focus on consulting and technology partners.
Responsibilities:
- Drive joint Go-To-Market initiatives with strategic partners to increase revenue and business opportunities
- Define and communicate PagerDuty's value proposition to partners' advisory and professional services organizations
- Work closely with the VP of Partnerships to define, execute, and evangelize the GTM alliance and partner strategy
- Develop marketing and sales collateral to support partnership initiatives
- Build domain expertise and thought leadership in key areas for partnership expansion
- Work closely with PagerDuty sales to broker account mapping and field-level relationships with partners
- Drive pipeline generation at the field level with direct sales and go-to-market partner organizations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Operations, Enablement, Legal, Marketing, Product Marketing, Program Management, Sales, and other internal teams
- Analyze partnership program performance and determine areas for improvement
- Accurately forecast partner influenced revenue and represent both the voice of the partner and PagerDuty as required to resolve issues and attain revenue
Qualifications:
- Self-starter with a focus on execution and driving results
- Excellent relationship management and partner development skills
- Minimum of 12+ years' experience in business development driving strategic alliance relationships
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills and ability to speak effectively to executives, product managers, engineers, and others
- Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels and organizations
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail and follow-up
- Comfortable with a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- BA/BS degree, MBA or Master’s degree from a top university a plus
- Comfortable with weekly travel
