This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager in United States.
This role sits at the center of a complex, high-impact New Product Introduction (NPI) program, leading cross-functional supply chain and procurement activities to ensure successful delivery of critical hardware components. You will coordinate closely with procurement, engineering, and program stakeholders to align sourcing strategies, supplier readiness, and production timelines with program objectives. The position requires strong leadership in managing end-to-end supply chain execution, from early supplier engagement through procurement planning and delivery oversight. You will play a key role in ensuring cost, quality, and schedule targets are met while supporting supplier negotiations, risk management, and compliance activities. The environment is highly collaborative and engineering-driven, focused on delivering advanced, mission-critical products. This is a strategic role for professionals who excel in supply chain leadership within complex manufacturing and aerospace programs.
Accountabilities:
- Lead cross-functional supply chain and procurement activities to support New Product Introduction (NPI) program objectives.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies in collaboration with procurement and program leadership.
- Manage supplier engagement activities including RFIs, RFQs, NDAs, sourcing boards, and supplier selection processes.
- Support procurement teams in negotiating, issuing, and managing purchase orders for prototype and production components.
- Build and maintain detailed supplier execution plans aligned with program milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor and report supplier status, risks, and performance across engineering, procurement, and program teams.
- Facilitate supplier readiness, compliance, and coordination activities to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and 7–9+ years of supply chain and project management experience.
- Strong background in supply chain management, procurement, or manufacturing program execution.
- Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) or similar complex production programs.
- Knowledge of sourcing strategies, supplier management, and procurement processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
- Experience conducting supplier risk assessments and supporting production readiness activities.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to evolving program requirements.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and cost optimization approaches is highly desirable.
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to program requirements.
