Job description

Team: Project Management

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Program Manager – LO/S based in the United States.

This role sits at the center of a high-impact, AI-driven product ecosystem, responsible for orchestrating the delivery of a complex, multi-disciplinary platform spanning engineering, product, design, machine learning, data science, and operations. You will ensure that large-scale initiatives move smoothly from concept to release across a distributed organization, maintaining clarity, structure, and momentum in a fast-paced environment. Acting as the connective tissue between technical and non-technical teams, you will translate ambiguity into actionable plans and ensure execution stays aligned with strategic priorities. The role requires both strong systems thinking and hands-on program management to keep multiple workstreams synchronized. You will build and refine the operating rhythm, tools, and processes that enable teams to scale effectively. This is a highly visible position with direct influence on delivery quality, speed, and cross-functional alignment across the organization.

Accountabilities:

Own and drive end-to-end program execution for large-scale AI-powered product initiatives, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, design, ML, data science, and operations teams.

  • Maintain a master program plan, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, and delivery visibility across multiple workstreams.
  • Identify, track, and proactively resolve cross-functional blockers, risks, and dependency conflicts.
  • Design and evolve lightweight but effective delivery systems, rituals, and tooling conventions to improve coordination and execution efficiency.
  • Partner with product and engineering leadership to support release planning and ensure delivery aligns with strategic priorities.
  • Manage communication flow across technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring transparency, clarity, and timely escalation of risks.
  • Continuously adjust plans in response to changing requirements, ensuring momentum is preserved without sacrificing accuracy or alignment.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, visibility, and operational discipline across distributed teams.
  • Requirements:

Strong experience delivering complex technical programs in software environments, with the ability to manage multiple distributed teams and interdependent workstreams.

    • 7+ years of experience in technical program management or equivalent roles within engineering-driven organizations.
    • Deep understanding of software development practices, with the ability to engage in technical discussions around architecture, APIs, infrastructure, and system design.
    • Proven ability to build and scale program structures, workflows, and coordination mechanisms in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
    • Experience using modern delivery and tracking tools such as Linear, Jira, or equivalent to manage dependencies and execution visibility.
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across engineering, product, research, and operations without direct authority.
    • Experience working with ML/AI or LLM-enabled products is a strong plus, particularly in environments where research and production delivery intersect.
    • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in high-complexity, high-velocity settings.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary package aligned with experience and market benchmarks
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees
      • Flexible work environment supporting distributed and remote collaboration
      • Paid parental leave and family-support programs
      • Short- and long-term disability coverage
      • Competitive PTO and paid holidays
      • Opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and leadership exposure
      • Access to a fast-growing, innovation-driven product organization
