Role Description
 
As a Technical Solutions Lead for the EMEA region, you’ll have responsibility to manage, coach and scale a team of Technical Solutions Specialists that are supporting our various Sales motions (direct, channel, SMB).
 
This manager role will be responsible for driving cross functional alignment and initiatives for the Technical Solutions team at Dropbox. This will require business engagement with Sales, Success, CX, EPD and other internal stakeholders.
 
The ideal candidate will be a self-driven leader who can work with the Technical Solutions team to remove obstacles and allow them to focus on their priorities. You must be able to own complex and strategic projects end to end, as well as foster a team culture of inclusivity, teamwork, trust, and continued improvement both personally and professionally. 
Responsibilities
  • Build and grow the EMEA Technical Solutions team with a focus on mentorship and professional development
  • Be innovative and accountable for results 
  • Partner with sales leadership, channel partners and other cross-functional teams to drive ARR through multi-product solutions
  • Participate in regular forecast meetings and deals review
  • Have an excellent understanding of Dropbox Products and Add-ons (including our third-party integrations), and how technical solutions are managed and secured
  • Own the daily operational efficiency of the EMEA Solutions team to make sure all Sales motions get the adequate level of technical support they need
  • Own a smooth transition of deals from presales to our postsales Customer Success / Channel teams
  • Surface product and technology gaps to Dropbox product and leadership teams
  • Work closely with our Product teams to ensure smooth prospect-to-customer transitions and long-term customer success
  • Drive value at scale across all customer touch points (pre/postsales)
Requirements
  • Proven management experience; with considerable leadership, mentoring, coaching and staff development skills preferably within a SaaS organization
  • Prior experience as a Sales Engineer or Professional Services Solutions Consultant
  • Experience implementing scaled motions for B2B selling (Direct & Indirect)
  • Experience supporting Channel Partners in a Sell-With / Sell-Through motion
  • Ability to create and deliver technical content suitable for a variety of audiences (IT Admin, Developer, Manager, Executive, Internal, Channel) and formats (oral, written, presentation and video)
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build trust and rapport with cross-functional & cross regional partners
  • Good knowledge of the EMEA region and the cultural specificities
  • Travel as required
