This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President, Total Rewards based in United States.

We are seeking an accomplished executive leader to shape and drive a comprehensive global Total Rewards strategy that supports business growth, talent attraction, and employee engagement. This role oversees compensation, benefits, accommodations, compliance, and rewards governance across a complex, international organization. As a key strategic partner to executive leadership, you will leverage data, automation, and AI-driven solutions to modernize HR operations, enhance decision-making, and deliver scalable people programs. The position offers significant visibility, including regular interaction with senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders. Ideal candidates combine deep expertise in compensation and benefits with strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and a passion for innovation. Accountabilities:

  • Define and execute a global Total Rewards strategy encompassing compensation, benefits, equity programs, accommodations, and compliance initiatives.
  • Design, implement, and govern competitive compensation structures, including base salary, incentive plans, executive compensation, sales compensation, and equity programs.
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and administer executive reward frameworks that align performance, retention, and business objectives.
  • Leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve compensation analysis, pay equity assessments, forecasting, reporting, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish governance frameworks, policies, and standards that ensure consistency, compliance, and scalability across global rewards programs.
  • Lead benefits strategy, vendor management, renewal processes, and program optimization to support employee wellbeing and organizational goals.
  • Prepare and present executive-level reports and Board materials related to compensation strategy, market benchmarking, compliance, risk management, and program effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that simplify Total Rewards operations, reduce complexity, and enhance employee experience.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Technology, and HR teams to ensure alignment between rewards strategies and broader business objectives.
  • Mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing Total Rewards team while fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Oversee multi-jurisdictional compliance requirements and proactively manage people-related risks across global markets.
  • Requirements

    • Minimum of 12 years of progressive Human Resources experience with extensive expertise in Total Rewards, executive compensation, and benefits strategy.
    • At least 7 years of leadership experience overseeing global or enterprise-wide compensation and benefits programs.
    • Proven success designing and managing compensation, equity, and benefits programs within complex, multinational technology, SaaS, AI, or high-growth organizations.
    • Strong experience developing executive compensation structures, incentive programs, and Board-level compensation recommendations.
    • Demonstrated expertise implementing or governing HR automation platforms and AI-enabled solutions to improve operational effectiveness.
    • Deep understanding of compensation benchmarking, pay equity analysis, workforce analytics, and financial modeling.
    • Experience creating executive presentations and presenting recommendations to senior leadership teams and Boards of Directors.
    • Strong knowledge of global compliance regulations and multi-jurisdictional employment practices related to compensation and benefits.
    • Experience working within both public companies and private equity-backed organizations is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with Workday and modern HR technology ecosystems is preferred.
    • Experience managing global equity programs, sales compensation plans, and benefits negotiations is advantageous.
    • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills.
    • Demonstrated AI literacy, including experience evaluating AI tools, managing governance frameworks, assessing risk, and scaling AI-powered HR workflows responsibly.
