What you do Reconcile company bank accounts to the corresponding general ledger accounts, comparing outstanding checks and other debit/credits listed on the bank statement to the ledger, including following up on all reconciling items, and preparing reconciliations for supervisor sign off for assigned accounts.Provide paid check copy requests to internal associates and handle the companies permanent check records for specific bank accounts.Responsible for generating unclaimed property reports, payments to the states, and processing the accounting.Accountable for performance and results of appropriate units.Provide support to other Accounting Control positions within the team and assigned projects.Works independently within established procedures; may assist with coordinating the work of others but not a formal supervisor.Responsible for identifying and solving complex problems and will be consulted when problems arise with little or no precedent.Other duties as assigned.
