Role Description: Looking for a Senior Accountant to take responsibility of the following Execute the daily operations of the accounting department Maintain the general ledger, recording cash receipts/ disbursements and other financial transactions Reconcile bank activity, credit card accounts and intercompany accounts Assist with preparation of month-end financial packages Assist in streamlining processes and documenting policies and procedures Investments Maintain activity and balances in investment management platform and compile reporting for performance reporting Provide assistance with the investment process, preparing schedules and journal entries Assist Investment team with review of capitalization tables, liquidation preferences, proceeds waterfalls and investor rights Record and track SPV activity Assist with all family related matters, including: Insurance Household Payroll & Benefits Trust & estate planning General Qualifications: Prior experience and expertise in some combination of: Fund Accounting/Public Accounting Family Office Strong academic credentials, CPA not required but strongly recommended Strong Excel skills 2-3+ years’ experience Exceptional communications skills (oral and written) Meticulous documentation, record retention, organizational skills U.S. work authorization required.
