<p>Position Overview <p> <p>Lead the evaluation implementation and launch of investment product vehicles and other offerings in the Americas for Aegon Asset Management including new product launches product enhancements and changes maintenance <p> <p><strong><b>Job Description<b><strong> <p> <p><b>Responsibilities<b> <p> <ul><li>Lead the project management and launch of new fund vehicles including registered funds ie 40 Act CITs ETFs and private funds PEstyle REITs<li> <li>Evaluate and develop new vehicles that will enable the distribution of investment strategies globally including liquid syndicated and illiquid originated assets<li> <li>Subject matter expert on US fund vehicles including the associated tax implications to support the distribution of new and existing strategy capabilities<li> <li>Responsible for leading the project management of new fund launches based in the Americas with the ability to engage with senior subject matter experts ie portfolio management legal operations accounting finance compliance and risk and assess prelaunch readiness <li> <li>Support regulatory and other filing requirement for the US platform<li> <li>Product representative with legal risk and compliance to address new regulatory changes impacting US and offshore fundwrappers<li> <li>Assist in the management of seed capital and recommend appropriate allocation for wrappers supporting Americas clients<li> <li>Responsible for preparation of committee and board material <li> <li>Act as a firmwide resource for product platform information<li> <li>Serve as a subject matter expert to provide guidance and detailed product information to portfolio managers marketing sales and clients related to due diligence<li> <ul><p><b>Required Qualifications <b> <p> <ul><li>Ten years or more of related experience including senior roles in product development and implementation<li> <li>Direct experience in key support functions such as operations legal andor accounting<li> <li>Proven track record of launching new fund vehicles<li> <li>Strong organization skills with a demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional product initiatives <li> <li>Strong understanding of product wrappers eg private placements 40 Act registered collective trusts ETFs offshore funds including UCITS<li> <li>Understanding of the related US regulatory and tax regimes<li> <li>Ability to work in a deadline driven environment taking a product initiative from idea through to implementation and launch<li> <li>Quantitativequalitative problem solving and research skills<li>
