SUMMARY<b><p> <p><span> <span><p> <p><span>The Donation Coordinator DC Field Trainer coordinates all functions of the 24x7x365 donation program and provides technical training and support for all aspects of the Donation Coordinator roles including receiving referrals and assessing for donation suitability obtaining appropriate authorization evaluating donor medicalsocial history determining donor suitability with all DNWest tissue processing partners coordinating recovery arrangements and logistical responsibilities The DC Field Trainer works collaboratively with a range of professionals from both inside and outside DNWest by communicating with donor family members the Donor Operations management team Manager on Duty recovery staff organ clinical staff coroners funeral homes hospital staff and other key individuals and groups in a manner that reflects positively on the organization<span><p> <p><b>ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<b> <p><ul><li>Participates as a subject matter expert Referral Intake Donor Screening Donation Discussion Case Coordination and Shift Lead that partners with Learning and Development and Donor Operations management to evaluate develop and update training plans and materials for DCs<li> <li>Knowledge of department quality assurance standards processes and procedures including ability to identify and correct paperwork errors and complete additional staff training in real time<li> <li>Effectively and professionally trains Level I II and Lead DCs according to an established department training plan<li> <li>Works with Senior Donation Coordinators SDC to identify trends and keeps management informed of variances in application of department policies and procedures<li> <li>In conjunction with the department team and Learning and Development assists with onboarding and ongoing instructorled and onthejob training of team members within their focus area<li> <li>Partners with Learning and Development to ensure that learning objectives are taught and assessments are conducted with consistency<li> <li>Documents training progress in the learning management system in an accurate and timely manner<li> <li>Collaborates with management SDCs and Learning and Development to attend checkins and provide feedback to staff Recognizes data trends and make recommendations for improvement<li> <li>Advocates for learners by creating supportive learning opportunities<li> <li>Participates in the trainthetrainer program and the community of practice for learning<li> <li>Identifies process errors that may result in additional staff training<li> <li>Assesses administrative departmental situations making sound and appropriate decisions and effectively communicating with appropriate parties<li> <ul><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS<b> <p><ul><li>Demonstrated excellence in all essential functions of the DC I II and Lead roles<li> <li>1 or more years of experience as a Lead DC or equivalent experience with an Organ Procurement Organization <li> <li>Ability to efficiently and effectively maneuver through Microsoft office systems computers and office equipment and use a telephone system<li> <li>Excellent organization and time
