The Team Product Owner (TPO) is a central role in the delivery of products for Excellus. This position works with stakeholders throughout the organization to define and prioritize features, while working with architects and their teams to ensure each feature is successfully delivered to a measurable standard. The TPO serves as the primary interface between the business and their development teams with the emphasis on representing our customers - both internal and external - to the teams. The Team Product Owner decides on the functionality in collaboration with their business partners, sets release goals, scope and priority as well as works within the allocated budget to meet business needs. Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Level I: Manages the project and product vision, roadmap, and releases in collaboration with the business stakeholders. Defines scope through prioritization and management of a product backlog. Regularly keep stakeholders up-to-date and informed throughout project or product life cycle. Keeps applicable documents and tracking systems updated with relevant information related to the project requirements, updates and delivery status. Breaks down high level pieces of work (Epics) into manageable pieces (Features). Works with Business Stakeholders to identify the minimal viable product (MVP).
