Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in anesthesia practices and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and monitoring patients throughout surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. This role requires a thorough understanding of medical terminology, patient assessment, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during procedures, adjusting anesthesia levels as necessary.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments prior to anesthesia administration, including reviewing medical history and current medications.
• Provide airway management and support during surgical interventions.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including Epic and EHR systems.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Participate in pain management strategies post-operatively to enhance patient recovery.
• Stay current with NCQA standards and best practices in anesthesiology.
Skills
• Critical care experience is essential for managing complex patient needs.
• Knowledge of geriatrics and pediatrics is beneficial for providing tailored care across age groups.
• Strong background in anesthesiology with hands-on experience in airway management techniques.
• Proficient in patient care practices, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation.
• Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and vital signs interpretation.
• Experience administering injections and medication administration protocols.
• Familiarity with hospital environments, ICU experience preferred for high-acuity cases.

Pay: $51.35 - $61.84 per hour
