As a Delivery Consultant you will work closely with IBM clients and partners to design deliver and optimize IBM Technology solutions that align with your clients' goals. In this role you will apply your technical expertise to ensure world-class delivery while leveraging your consultative skills such as problem-solving issue/hypothesis-based methodologies communication and service orientation skills. - Understanding clients' main challenges and developing solutions that helps them reach true business value by working thru the phases of design development integration implementation migration and product support with a sense of urgency .
- Creating and executing agile plans where you are responsible for installing and provisioning assets testing migrating to production and day-two operations.
- Conducting and participating in technical solution workshops.
- Developing successful relationships at all levels —from engineers to CxOs—with experience of navigating challenging debate to reach healthy resolutions.

- Familiarity with UNIX System Services (USS) on z/OS for cross-platform integration and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with IBM Z System Automation (SA z/OS) for managing system availability and operational tasks.
- Knowledge of IBM Tivoli System Automation and NetView for z/OS for message automation and network management.
- Exposure to GDPS (Geographically Dispersed Parallel Sysplex) for high availability and disaster recovery automation.
- Proficiency in REXX and CLIST for developing automation scripts.
- Ability to write shell scripts in USS for system tasks.
- Basic knowledge of Python for integration and automation workflows.
- Experience with IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) and OPC concepts.
- Understanding of integration with enterprise schedulers for workload orchestration.
- Skills in IPL automation resource monitoring and message automation using NetView.
- Ability to design and implement automation policies for system stability and efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis of automation failures.
- Ability to design and implement incident response automation to minimize downtime.
- Experience creating automation policies procedures and standards.
- Ability to develop runbooks workflow diagrams and operational documentation for automation processes.
- Intermediate to advanced command of English (able to communicate effectively in technical and business contexts).
- Basic to Intermediate command of Spanish (reading and writing for documentation and collaboration).
- REST APIs for IBM Z – Ability to integrate mainframe services with modern applications using API-based automation.
- z/OSMF workflows – Knowledge of creating and managing workflows for system tasks and automation on z/OS.
- Ansible for IBM Z automation – Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automated provisioning for IBM Z environments.
- z/OS Cloud Broker – Understanding of connecting IBM Z resources to cloud platforms for hybrid deployments.
- Automation in hybrid environments (z/OS + distributed) – Skills in orchestrating automation across mainframe and distributed systems.
- GDPS for disaster recovery – Familiarity with automated failover and recovery processes for high availability.
- Sysplex automation – Ability to manage resources and maintain availability across multiple z/OS systems.
- Policy-based automation – Experience applying predefined rules to automate system responses and reduce manual intervention.
- OMEGAMON integration – Knowledge of performance monitoring and analytics for proactive system management.
- Event-driven automation – Ability to design automation that responds dynamically to system events for improved reliability.
