supports and reports directly to the Product Engineering LeadThe Product Engineer PE is the technical lead on internal and external projects and is responsible for all technical and schedule aspects of the projectproduct throughout the production life cycle Primary duties include <p> <ul><li>Creation of product structures and routers needed for manufacturing hardware<li> <li>Creation of DWP department work instructions of best practice<li> <li>Implementing SPC inline inspection strategy for manufacturing hardware<li> <li>Creation of inventory part in IFS as needed to support internal manufacturing<li> <li>Process CR change request for drawing updates in collaboration with team<li> <li>Identifying designing amp procuring manufacturing tooling as needed<li> <li>Identify and successful candidate must have a BSMS in an engineering discipline preferably mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering and 1+ years of experience working in various engineering fields relating to design manufacturing quality control equipment design facilities andor process development Additionally it is desired that the candidate have experience in the following area <p> <ul><li>Writing project cost estimating and project experience includes mechanical design problem solvingroot cause analysis leadership of technical teams technical management<li> <li>Experience with government specifications and industry standards related to aerospace components and systems design manufacture and test<li> <li>Understanding of Continuous Improvement Lean Manufacturing practices
