<p><b>Role Summary<b><p> <p><span>Magnet Forensics is searching for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting Team to assist with sales tax reporting close processes account reconciliations audit preparation and ad hoc projects and reporting<span><p> <p><span> <span><p> <p><span>The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of US GAAP accounting fundamentals to ensure compliance environment and require minimal supervision you will thrive here <span><p> <p><b>Role Responsibilities<b> <p><ul><li>Complete bank reconciliations<li> <li>Execute accounting and monthly close tasks as assigned<li> <li>Prepare and record general journal entries<li> <li>Perform balance sheet account reconciliations<li> <li>Investigate accounting variances and issues<li> <li>Process sales tax returns<li> <li>Proactively collaborate with staff in other areas of accounting as well as other departments to resolve issues<li> <li>Review and approve purchase requisitions and vendor bills<li> <li>Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting<li> <li>Complete tasks in compliance with company policy and internal controls<li> <li>Post intercompany transactions to ensure proper entity reporting<li> <li>Gather documentation and support needed for interim and yearend audit requests<li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned <li> <ul><p><b>Requirements <b> <p><ul><li>Bachelors Degree in Accounting<li> <li>Minimum of 12 years of General Accounting<li> <li>Microsoft Office Suite proficiency<li> <li>Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving skills<li> <li>Ability to
