Armed Security Officer

Compensation: • Armed Patrol: $21.50 - $23.50 per hour (with potential pay increase after the introductory period and annual raises) • Unarmed Sentry: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour (with potential pay increase after the introductory period and annual raises) • Full-time: 40 hours per week with occasional overtime • Graveyard Night Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Key Responsibilities: • Enforce community rules and regulations • Manage access control at entry gates • Patrol the property on foot and by vehicle • Respond to emergencies and incidents Qualifications for Patrol Candidates: • Full-time availability • Possession of aCalifornia BSIS-issued Security Guard Card(or ability to obtain one) • BSIS Exposed Firearm Permitrequired for armed positions (unarmed officers may move up once obtained) • ValidCalifornia Driver’s License • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills • Ability to write reports and answer phones • Excellent work ethic and the ability to work independently Benefits: • Annual bonuses • Paid lunch breaks • Opportunities for growth within the association • A positive and supportive work environment • Potential for pay increase after the introductory period andannual pay raises PPO: 16807 Potential for growth within the association.
