This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Competitiveness & Transformation Execution Lead based in India.

This role sits at the heart of a strategic supply chain transformation agenda, focusing on driving competitiveness, cost efficiency, and operational excellence across end-to-end value chains. You will lead and support high-impact transformation initiatives that span product portfolio, manufacturing, logistics, and procurement. The position offers strong exposure to cross-functional stakeholders, global teams, and senior leadership, within a fast-paced and data-driven environment. It is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex supply chain challenges through analytics, structured project delivery, and commercial insight. You will play a key role in shaping and executing initiatives that directly influence cost performance and business outcomes. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting supply chain competitiveness and transformation initiatives, ensuring structured execution and value delivery across projects.

  • Lead or support end-to-end transformation projects focused on improving supply chain competitiveness, cost efficiency, and operational performance
  • Extract, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple systems (e.g., ERP and planning tools) to build robust datasets for modelling and decision-making
  • Develop and maintain supply chain cost models covering raw materials, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, freight, and pricing structures
  • Support initiatives linked to product cost competitiveness, operational cost optimization, industrialization, and broader transformation agendas
  • Drive data-led insights to enable network optimization and improved financial and operational decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and commercial teams to ensure alignment and execution
  • Track project progress, manage risks and interdependencies, and support governance reporting and value delivery monitoring
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate brings strong experience in supply chain transformation, data-driven analysis, and structured project management within complex industrial or FMCG environments.

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (supply chain, engineering, business, or equivalent)
    • 9+ years of experience in supply chain, ideally within lubricants, chemicals, or FMCG industries
    • Proven experience in project or program management, with formal certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred
    • Strong expertise in data extraction and analysis using tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms
    • Solid experience in supply chain cost modelling and scenario analysis across complex value chains
    • Good understanding of commercial principles, cost structures, and basic accounting concepts
    • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across teams, geographies, and seniority levels
    • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, prioritization, and execution capabilities in fast-paced environments
