About Paradromics

Brain-related illness is one of the last great frontiers in medicine not because the brain is unknowable but because it has been inaccessible. Paradromics is building a brain-computer interface (BCI) platform that records brain activity at the highest possible resolution: the individual neuron. Our first clinical application the Connexus® BCI will help people who are unable to speak due to ALS spinal cord injuries and stroke to communicate independently through digital devices. The Role
Paradromics is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Business Systems to lead
the design implementation and optimization of enterprise systems that support our
fast-growing organization in Austin TX. This role will oversee business-critical platforms
across finance operations quality and supply chain ensuring systems are scalable
compliant and aligned with company objectives.
Responsibilities
 Lead the strategy implementation and ongoing management of core business
systems (e.g. ERP QMS MRP HRIS) in coordination with various
stakeholders.
 Oversee system integrations and data architecture across platforms to ensure
accuracy and efficiency.
 Partner with executive leadership to align systems roadmap with business goals
and growth plans.
 Drive process optimization and automation across finance manufacturing
quality and commercial operations.
 Establish governance change management and system documentation best
practices.
 Develop and maintain reporting and analytics capabilities to support decision-
making.
 Oversee system security user access controls and data integrity in partnership
with IT and cybersecurity teams.
 Proactively maintain system validation and documentation to ensure readiness
for audits and regulatory inspections.
 Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards (e.g. GAAP FDA
ISO 13485).
 Build and lead a high-performing business systems and applications team
including oversight of outsourced resources.
 Manage relationships with system vendors consultants and third-party
providers.
Required Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Business Administration Finance
Accounting or related fields.
 10+ years of experience in business systems enterprise applications or IT
leadership roles.
 Proven leadership in implementing and managing ERP systems such as
NetSuite SAP Oracle or comparable platforms.
 Strong understanding of business processes across finance supply chain
manufacturing and operations.
 Experience with system integrations data management and process
automation.
 Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders
at all levels.
 Strong knowledge of internal controls data governance and system security
best practices.
 Excellent communication leadership and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
 Experience in medical device healthcare defense or other highly regulated
industries.
 Experience scaling systems in fast-paced high-growth startup environments.
 Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Product Lifecycle
Management (PLM) tools.
 Certifications such as PMP CPA or relevant ERP certifications.
 Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI Tableau or similar
data analytics platforms.
 Experience using AI-enabled tools within enterprise systems and business
processes.
