Job Description

Job Purpose:

Reporting directly to the Senior Director Implementation, this position is responsible for coaching the Implementation team members on product implementations, and best practices across all regions to better meet the needs of our customers & the organization. Will work with the different teams within the Project Management Office to identify areas of potential improvement, then collaborate with teams across the Cendyn organization to determine & implement modifications required to constantly improve upon Project Management Office processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  1. Accountability
    1. Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the VP, Project Management, COO and other executive leadership
    2. Accountable for meeting, maintaining, and improving the performance of the agreed implementation critical success factors
    3. Monitor implementations from initial implementation acceptance by the PMO based on established guidelines and defined criteria to assure proper alignment and prioritization

  2. Excellence

    1. Provide training & best practices to implement and project manager on product implementations and processes to ensure all team member are able to implement/lead projects with high quality.
    2. Oversee or directly manage key implementations/projects involving clients and various internal departments
    3. Ensure that standard implementation methodologies are aligned, and followed by all team members
  3.

    1. Work and collaborate across business units to identify areas of improvement to processes and products to effectively provide improvement in global implementation/project processes

    1. Build a high-performance, result-driven culture with a focus on customer execution and continuous growth and improvement process

    1. Recruit, build, and lead a high-performance Implementation team with ongoing talent and performance reviews
    2. Build and maintain high-quality customer relationships and partnership
    3. Inspire and demonstrate collaborative relationships with all Project Management Office teams and Cendyn business units

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or Associate degree plus equivalent experience (military, public sector, or private sector) required
  2. 2 or more years’ experience related to the hospitality industry

Competencies:

Required Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience, required
  2. Proven experience managing multiple priorities and large customer implementations for Cendyn products
  3. 8 years’ Implementation experience preferred CAPM or PMP Certification preferred
  4. PMI-ACP, CSM, CPO or other agile certification(s) preferred

  7. Innovation – Ability to initiate creative thinking to accomplish continuous improvement and evolution of the PMO.
  8. Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff, and/or outside contacts Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional and positive manner

Work Environment:

This job operates both in a remote home office and occasional office environment. Working in an office environment requires a high degree of discipline and the ability to work with others in a moderately noisy open office environment with centrally controlled head/AC setting. Working from a remote location requires a high degree of discipline and self-organization.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday and subject to changes by Manager’s communication.


Travel:

This position may require up to 25% of travel. Travel may be overnight and outside of regular business hours.
