This role sits at the intersection of medical science, editorial precision, and pharmaceutical compliance, supporting the creation and validation of high-quality promotional and educational healthcare content. You will work within structured regulatory workflows, ensuring that scientific claims are accurately referenced and fully compliant with industry standards. The position involves close interaction with pharmaceutical marketing approval systems, where accuracy, traceability, and attention to detail are critical. You will contribute to maintaining the integrity of medical communications used by healthcare professionals. Working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant delivery of content. Accountabilities:
- Anchor and manage references for pharmaceutical promotional materials within Veeva or similar approval systems using provided reference packs.
- Review, verify, and update reference anchors to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance across material versions.
- Perform detailed fact-checking and editorial quality assurance of scientific and medical content.
- Identify discrepancies, correct errors where appropriate, or escalate issues clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all deliverables meet strict project timelines while maintaining high editorial and compliance standards.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and updates proactively to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Support ongoing improvements in editorial and referencing workflows where required.
- Degree in a scientific or medical discipline (or equivalent background) with strong medical/scientific literacy.
- Practical experience with Veeva or other pharmaceutical marketing approval systems is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory environments and promotional compliance standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy, referencing, and quality assurance.
- Ability to interpret and validate scientific claims in medical or pharmaceutical content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear stakeholder interaction.
- Proven ability to manage workload effectively and meet strict deadlines in a structured environment.
