Program Manager, Portfolio Engagements

Responsibilities

• Independently ensure effective, accurate, appropriate and timely communication between Foresite Labs and assigned portfolio companies
• Act as the point of contact for assigned companies and project teams engaging technical services, monitoring progress and maintaining alignment with the agreed goals, timelines, deliverables, and budgets
• Provide periodic updates on project progress to the Product team and internal stakeholders
• Support and optimize processes (templates, methodologies, and tracking tools) that facilitate scaling of collaborative activities and work products
• Work closely with cross-functional team members to triage incoming requests, monitor activity, and identify emerging themes for technical infrastructure and genetics projects across our portfolio companies
• Maintain knowledge of existing and emerging technical services for portfolio companies

Required qualifications

• A Master’s degree or equivalent in biology, bioinformatics or a related field
• 3 or more years of experience working within and/or coordinating collaborative research in the life sciences field
• Proficiency in Microsoft & Google Suite
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment while executing across multiple projects

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Project Management tools (e.g. Smartsheet) and project budgets a plus
