As the QA Manager for this team, you will use both people skills and technical expertise to grow and guide the QA team.

You will play a key role in attracting and hiring talent, creating a healthy, high-performing team, and leading the charge in improving product quality at Fictiv.

- Create a high-performing team that values transparency, openness, and psychological safety
- Lead QAs across multiple teams and take ownership of overall quality
- Attract and recruit talented QAs interested in raising the bar for quality for the Fictiv platform and help mentor them in testing the right way
- Lead the team in planning and delivering improvements to the QA process and help drive the QA strategy at Fictiv
- You provide business context to your team and generate excitement for new tools, frameworks, and practices developed by your team.
- Provide technical guidance to the team
- Help achieve quality team targets wrt test coverage and metrics reporting   

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- As an experienced manager, you have a strong motivation to build empowered, excited, and productive engineering teams that can play a critical role in levelling up the quality of the platform
- You’re experienced in leading a QA team to test large scale customer-facing web applications
- As an experienced technologist, you don’t mind being in the code and you have an ability to dive into the technical details
- You have knowledge of cloud architecture and security practices
- You bring a solid understanding of Software Engineering
- You’re a clear, proactive communicator

- You have experience in an Agile development environment
- You can work collaboratively with a diverse group of people who have strong opinions
- You can understand different perspectives while remaining an effective advocate for software quality
