This role is focused on building, extending, and optimizing complex Salesforce solutions with a strong emphasis on managed package architecture and enterprise-scale customization. You will work at the intersection of Salesforce development and advanced project management platforms, enhancing and adapting managed packages such as Leankor to meet unique business requirements. The position requires deep technical expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integration patterns to ensure scalable, high-performance solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining upgrade-safe customizations while ensuring seamless compatibility across evolving package versions. Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust enterprise applications with minimal disruption. The role combines hands-on development with architectural ownership across complex Salesforce ecosystems. Accountabilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce managed package architectures, ensuring scalable, upgrade-safe customizations and long-term maintainability.
- Develop and optimize Apex classes, triggers, batch processes, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) that integrate seamlessly with managed package objects and metadata.
- Customize and enhance Leankor functionalities, including Kanban boards, Gantt charts, and resource management workflows, to support enterprise project execution needs.
- Manage complex package upgrade cycles, performing impact analysis and ensuring zero-downtime deployments across environments.
- Design UI/UX enhancements using Salesforce tools such as Field Sets, Custom Settings, and LWC to improve user experience over standard managed package interfaces.
- Build and maintain complex data models integrating standard Salesforce objects, custom objects, and managed package entities.
- Support DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Salesforce DX, Copado, or Gearset to ensure stable and reliable deployments.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs while following best practices in architecture and security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology (B.E/B.Tech), or MCA.
- Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce development with expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce platform tools.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including managed packages, namespaces, and upgrade-safe development practices.
- Proven experience working with Field Service Lightning (FSL) or similar Salesforce cloud solutions.
- Experience customizing or working with Leankor or similar project management/PPM platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs and integration patterns within Salesforce ecosystems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and enterprise design patterns.
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, FSL Consultant, etc.) are a strong plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks (Apex, Jest) is preferred.
