SAP SD Consultant

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a SAP SD Consultant in India.

This role offers the opportunity to work on end-to-end SAP Sales & Distribution implementations within complex enterprise environments, supporting both transformation and ongoing optimization initiatives. You will contribute to designing and delivering scalable Order-to-Cash solutions across S/4HANA landscapes, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams. The position involves hands-on configuration, solution design, and integration across key SAP modules such as MM, FI, and PP. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth system rollouts, production support, and continuous improvements. Operating in a fast-paced consulting setup, you will engage with global clients across industries like retail, manufacturing, and CPG. This is an impactful role for someone who enjoys solving business problems through robust SAP solutions while working in a highly collaborative environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering SAP SD solutions across implementation and support projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and system capabilities. You will actively participate in all phases of the project lifecycle while driving functional excellence.

• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP SD functional designs and configurations across Order-to-Cash processes.
• Configure and support core SD areas including pricing, billing, credit/debit memo processing, partner determination, and output management.
• Work on S/4HANA-specific functionalities such as Business Partner integration, simplified data models, and BRF+-based output management.
• Support integration with SAP MM, FI, PP, and external systems such as EDI and logistics partners.
• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP teams for technical developments and enhancements.
• Support testing cycles including SIT, UAT, go-live, and hypercare while resolving defects and production issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure stable, efficient, and scalable SAP SD processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings strong SAP SD expertise with proven experience in S/4HANA environments and a solid understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes. You should be comfortable working in dynamic consulting settings and managing multiple stakeholders.

• 5–8 years of experience in SAP SD with at least one end-to-end S/4HANA implementation (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Conversion).
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration including pricing, billing, sales documents, and copy/incompletion procedures.
• Good understanding of S/4HANA concepts such as Business Partner model and advanced output management (BRF+).
• Experience working with integrations (IDOCs, interfaces) and cross-module processes with MM, FI, and PP.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and propose effective SAP solutions aligned with best practices.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills in client-facing environments.
• SAP SD certification and exposure to SAP Fiori and aATP will be considered an advantage.
