Team: Account Executive

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Director, Agent Sales in United States.

This is a high-impact commercial leadership role focused on driving enterprise adoption of next-generation AI agent solutions within the life sciences and clinical research ecosystem. You will be responsible for building and scaling a new revenue stream centered on AI-powered agent technologies, helping transform how clinical development workflows are designed and executed. The role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on execution across complex enterprise deals, requiring deep engagement with senior stakeholders in R&D, clinical operations, and IT. You will operate at the forefront of innovation, shaping how AI agents are positioned, sold, and deployed in highly regulated environments. This position requires a strong blend of technical fluency, executive presence, and commercial rigor. You will also act as a key market voice, helping define the category and influencing go-to-market strategy for emerging AI-driven solutions.

Accountabilities:

  • Own and exceed annual revenue targets through direct sales of AI Agent Studio and standalone agent solutions across enterprise life sciences clients.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, technical validation, commercial negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies to drive adoption of AI agent technologies within strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Act as a market evangelist for AI agent transformation in clinical research and life sciences, shaping customer understanding and adoption.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Delivery teams to align customer needs with product roadmap, deployment models, and commercial structures.
  • Collaborate with broader enterprise sales teams to identify cross-sell opportunities and expand platform penetration within existing accounts.
  • Drive pipeline forecasting, sales performance tracking, and disciplined CRM management to ensure accurate revenue visibility.
  • Contribute to pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategy for new and evolving AI agent offerings.
  • Support marketing efforts by developing customer stories, demos, and field enablement materials that strengthen market positioning.
  • Requirements

    • 12+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or equivalent commercial roles within technology or life sciences sectors.
    • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value enterprise software deals, typically $10M+ in value, with senior executive stakeholders.
    • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, automation, or agent-based technologies and their application in enterprise environments.
    • Experience selling into regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotech, or healthcare strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders with strong executive communication and value-based selling skills.
    • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environments with emerging product categories.
    • Familiarity with clinical development workflows, GxP environments, data privacy, and AI governance considerations is a strong plus.
    • Experience building or scaling early-stage go-to-market motions for new products or innovative technology offerings.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce and standard business productivity tools.
    • Benefits

      • Competitive base salary with significant annual performance-based bonus potential.
      • Equity participation through stock options, aligning individual impact with company growth.
      • Fully remote-first work environment with flexibility across the United States.
      • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
      • Health savings accounts (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA), and fertility support programs.
      • Mental, physical, and financial wellness programs to support overall well-being.
      • Peer recognition programs celebrating achievements and team contributions.
      • Volunteer time off to support community engagement and personal causes.
      • Strong culture of innovation, inclusion, and professional growth within a mission-driven environment.
