This role is designed for experienced engineering professionals who want to go beyond hands-on development and shape scalable cloud solutions with real business impact. You will operate in a highly distributed, global engineering environment where innovation, autonomy, and technical leadership are essential. The position focuses on designing and guiding cloud-native architectures that power large-scale digital products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across geographies, influencing both technical direction and engineering best practices. Accountabilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native architectures.
- Provide technical direction and architectural guidance across multiple engineering teams and initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Drive adoption of best practices in cloud engineering, system design, and distributed systems.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to improving technical maturity across teams and projects.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based systems in production environments.
- Participate in technical reviews, design discussions, and strategic planning for complex systems.
- Extensive experience in cloud engineering, distributed systems, or platform architecture roles.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architecture patterns.
- Deep understanding of microservices, APIs, scalability, and high-availability system design.
- Strong background in software engineering with proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
- Experience designing and operating large-scale production systems.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- Ability to drive technical decisions in complex, fast-moving environments.
