This senior technical leadership role focuses on designing and delivering enterprise-grade Salesforce Health Cloud solutions for complex healthcare ecosystems. You will act as a key architecture owner, translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce implementations that support patient/member lifecycle management. The role combines deep hands-on engineering expertise with strategic advisory responsibilities across large-scale digital transformation programs. You will lead architectural decisions spanning Salesforce core, Health Cloud, integrations, data models, and automation frameworks. Working closely with business stakeholders, program leaders, and distributed engineering teams, you will ensure alignment between technical design and healthcare operational needs. This position requires strong governance, solution ownership, and the ability to drive innovation across Salesforce platforms in regulated environments. It is ideal for a seasoned expert who can balance delivery leadership with deep technical execution.
Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end architecture and delivery of Salesforce Health Cloud solutions for large-scale healthcare implementations.
- Design and govern scalable Salesforce architectures across core platform, Health Cloud extensions, integrations, automation, and data models.
- Translate complex healthcare business requirements into robust, secure, and compliant technical solutions.
- Define and manage integration architecture using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and healthcare standards such as FHIR and HL7.
- Oversee full delivery lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Provide technical governance through design and code reviews, ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices and enterprise standards.
- Lead and mentor distributed teams across developers, administrators, QA engineers, and offshore delivery units.
- Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to manage scope, timelines, risks, and delivery commitments.
- Drive innovation through PoCs, platform enhancements, and adoption of new Salesforce Health Cloud capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA/PHI) and enforce security, performance, and scalability standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor bridging business stakeholders and technical teams, guiding solution decisions and trade-offs.
- Support Agile/SAFe ceremonies and contribute to roadmap planning, release strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- 7.5+ years of overall experience with strong expertise in Salesforce architecture and delivery.
- Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, including Care Plans, Patient/Member Profiles, Care Teams, Care Programs, and related modules.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience designing and implementing complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems including EHR/EMR integrations, payer/provider workflows, and patient lifecycle management.
- Proven experience leading enterprise Salesforce implementations and guiding multi-shore engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps tools such as Copado, Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in Salesforce security model, data access, sharing rules, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in Agile and Scaled Agile environments with active participation in sprint planning and delivery cycles.
- Strong architectural mindset with ability to evaluate solutions, define standards, and ensure long-term scalability.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills with a consulting-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
