This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a ServiceNow Developer in India.

This role focuses on strengthening enterprise IT operations through the ServiceNow platform, with a strong emphasis on IT Operations Management (ITOM). You will play a key part in building, configuring, and optimizing core modules such as Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, and Service Mapping. The position involves working on end-to-end platform enhancements that improve visibility, automation, and reliability across complex IT environments. You will collaborate with technical teams to integrate monitoring systems, streamline workflows, and ensure accurate configuration data. This is a highly hands-on engineering role where your work directly improves operational efficiency and service reliability. Accountabilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and enhance ServiceNow ITOM modules including Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, and Service Mapping to ensure optimal platform performance.
  • Manage MID Servers and ensure reliable integration between ServiceNow and external IT systems and monitoring tools.
  • Design and maintain discovery schedules, probes, and patterns to automate infrastructure and application discovery processes.
  • Ensure CMDB data accuracy, integrity, and governance while improving configuration management practices across the organization.
  • Configure event management components including alert rules, correlation logic, and alert grouping for effective incident detection and response.
  • Develop flows and sub-flows to automate IT processes and improve operational efficiency across IT service management workflows.
  • Build dashboards and leverage performance analytics to monitor ITOM processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform, particularly ITOM modules.
    • Strong expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, and Service Mapping.
    • Experience configuring MID Servers and integrating ServiceNow with external systems and monitoring tools.
    • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, configuration management, and IT operations processes.
    • Experience with workflow automation using Flow Designer, including flows and sub-flows.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise environments.
    • Good understanding of data integrity, service mapping relationships, and ITOM best practices.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
