Sourcing Hub Director

This is a strategic leadership role focused on building and scaling a data-driven sustainability platform that supports responsible sourcing decisions across global supply chains. The position sits at the intersection of sustainability, data, and digital innovation, combining strategy design with hands-on execution. You will lead the development of risk assessment frameworks, benchmarking tools, and platform capabilities that enable organizations to improve transparency and sustainability performance. Working across global, cross-functional teams, you will ensure alignment between advisory, certification, and data functions. The role also includes managing stakeholders, supporting partnerships, and contributing to fundraising and external positioning efforts. This is a highly impactful position in a mission-driven, international environment where innovation and sustainability go hand in hand.

• Lead the strategic direction, governance, and roadmap development of a global sourcing and sustainability data platform.
• Oversee the design and continuous improvement of risk assessment and benchmarking methodologies to support responsible sourcing initiatives.
• Drive the development and enhancement of digital tools and platform capabilities in collaboration with data and technology teams.
• Ensure strong cross-functional alignment across advisory, certification, projects, and innovation teams.
• Manage and mentor a small team, ensuring high-quality delivery, coordination, and professional development.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement and external partnerships to strengthen platform adoption and impact.
• Support fundraising efforts and contribute to external positioning and strategic growth initiatives.
• Oversee the integration of the platform into operational workflows to maximize usability and organizational value.

Requirements:

• University degree in sustainability, environmental studies, international development, economics, law, data analytics, or a related field.
• Strong experience in sustainability-related domains such as risk assessment, benchmarking, certification systems, or regulatory analysis.
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives in a global or matrix environment.
• Experience working with digital platforms, data tools, or product development processes.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with a pragmatic, hands-on execution mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across international teams.
• Nice to have: experience with AI tools, data visualization platforms, NGO environments, team management, or fundraising activities.
