This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Vice President, Client Partnership in the United States.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and elevating end-to-end client relationships within a fast-paced digital and experience-driven organization. You will oversee a portfolio of high-value client engagements, acting as both strategic advisor and operational leader to ensure exceptional delivery, financial health, and long-term partnership growth. The role blends client-facing executive leadership with internal team management, requiring a strong balance of business acumen, creative sensibility, and organizational leadership. You will guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products and experiences while ensuring alignment with client business objectives. This position plays a critical role in driving account growth, improving profitability, and expanding long-term strategic relationships. You will also contribute to new business development, from pitching to contract negotiation, in a highly collaborative and creative environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead overall client relationship management across a portfolio of large, complex accounts, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Act as a senior strategic partner to clients, aligning engagement strategy with their business goals and long-term needs.
  • Oversee account financial performance, including profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and statement of work development.
  • Manage and mentor cross-disciplinary teams, ensuring accountability, collaboration, and high-quality delivery.
  • Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding relationships, and strengthening executive-level client connections.
  • Lead the development of engagement strategies in partnership with internal discipline leads and project teams.
  • Ensure accurate resourcing, staffing, and delivery planning to meet timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
  • Oversee client communication, expectations management, and continuous feedback loops to improve service delivery.
  • Lead or support new business efforts including RFP responses, pitch development, and contract negotiations.
  • Partner with internal leadership to optimize operational execution and drive long-term account success.
  • Requirements:

    • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale client engagements within a digital agency, consultancy, or technology services environment.
    • Proven track record managing $5M+ client portfolios with strong performance in quality, financial outcomes, and efficiency.
    • Strong leadership experience managing and developing cross-functional and cross-disciplinary teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive account growth, client retention, and long-term strategic partnerships.
    • Experience shaping engagement strategy and translating client objectives into actionable delivery plans.
    • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing profitability, budgets, and SOW development.
    • Ability to influence senior client stakeholders and build trusted executive-level relationships.
    • Experience leading new business development efforts including pitches, proposals, and contract negotiations.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills across written and verbal formats.
    • Strong organizational and operational leadership capabilities in complex, fast-moving environments.
    • Ability to identify client needs, shape solutions, and proactively drive strategic opportunities.
    • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and developing diverse teams.
