This position involves System Administration of the Southern Company computing environment and management of the Field Mobile hardware offerings. The System Administrator level will be dependent upon skill/knowledge level. Technical Skills Required include extensive computer hardware and operating system knowledge, comprehensive knowledge of Southern Company software and hardware configurations, working knowledge of network, server and storage technology, recognition of cyber security threats and risks, ability to learn and apply modern technologies, superb diagnostic, troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving skills, programming/scripting skills using system-level APIs and WMI, experience working with the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and Operating System Deployment for Windows 10 imaging.
