The Bariatric Program Coordinator position is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Coordinator provides professional leadership in working with Bariatric Practice staff, facility, referring physicians, and patient. Two years of medical practice experience required, preferably within a bariatric surgery practice. Clinical background required, i.e., Registered Nurse, Dietitian, or Social Work. Demonstrable experience in program development and expansion and experience working in hospital or ambulatory surgery centers preferred. General management experience to direct activities of the department. Bachelor's Degree in health related field - Registered Nurse, Dietitian, Social Work. Current and valid Indiana Registered Nurse, Dietitian, or Social Work license. Excellent interpersonal leadership and communication skills. Effective in a team oriented environment. Demonstrated ability to manage staff and coordinate team members. Ability to assess, plan, and implement modalities.
