The Risk Analyst will be responsible for developing statistical information on complex client accounts for the Commercial Insurance Department. They will prepare financial models to illustrate, project, and analyze a variety of quantitative projects. The individual will formulate spreadsheets, graphs, charts, diagrams, and other illustrative tools used in presentations to identify trends and assist clients in understanding the drivers of their cost of risk. They will follow policies and procedures to make the overall practice more efficient and effective. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, actuarial science, finance, business, or math preferred, or equivalent education and/or experience with emphasis in math, accounting, or finance. A minimum of two years' analytical experience preferred. Completion of two plus actuarial exams preferred. The individual will have high skills in using computer application software for financial modeling, statistical analysis, spreadsheet calculations, word processing, and other database analyses. They will be able to compile, analyze, present, and interpret complex financial and statistical information to facilitate decision making. They will be able to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night.
