<ul><li>Heavy travel to our project job sites<li> <li>The area site managers job description entails studying project drawings and taking note for starting site activities in advance<li> <li>Making dailyweekly installation plans of their respective area as per project erection schedule<li> <li>Ensure work front availability for SVs Installation Company customer etc <li> <li>Checking of foundation establishing bench markings establishing center lines check the availability of equipment<li> <li>There must be consistent planning and taking notes of all measurements<li> <li>Maintaining measuring record during installation phase for each measured equipment<li> <li>Preparing the installation completion document to record the successful completion of installation of all equipments and sub equipments in accordance to the drawing<li> <li>The area site manager must know the right equipment to be used for a particular project having studied the site before starting work on it<li> <li>Heshe must take care of commissioning activities in coordination with Electric and automation<li> <li>Heshe will oversee the entire project and make sure it is completed as at when due<li> <li>The area site manager must be a problem solver Heshe must be able to work think make calculations and take the right decision even when under pressure<li> <li>Assisting the GSM SM with siterelated order execution<li> <li>Is familiar with state federal and local safety requirements and enforces a rigid safety program during the construction phase Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety <li> <li>Must be acquainted using basic computer applications for drawing reading report writing etc <li> <li>Must be able to interpret the project installation and commissioning schedule to plan the works accordingly<li> <li>Prepares updated progress reports and summarizes problem areas or concerns Reporting of quality and claimsrelated events etc <li> <li>Regularly attends clientcontractor meetings and works to resolve any issues that arise<li> <li>Must be having an overall knowledge of Hydraulics pneumatics Emulsion systems Oil Air Systems piping installations etc <li> <li>Proficient in reading P amp I drawings of media systems<li> <li>The area site manager coordinates and will work quickly to initiate corrective action and will direct contractors in performing any necessary changes revisions or modifications<li> <ul><p><strong>What youll need<strong> <p> <ul><li>High school diploma andor minimum 5 to 7 years of work experience in similar function<li> <li>Preferred work experience in the field of installation and commissioning of metallurgical plants<li> <li>Communicate well with others clearly write and speak to clients superiors coworkers team builder <li> <li>Good organization skills disciplined approach to daily activities takes a sense of pride in all aspects of the job<li> <li>Demonstrated leadership ability with strength in planning organizing and scheduling<li> <li>Must have the ability to make logical decisions under pressures to resolve field problems<li> <li>Working knowledge of mechanical hydraulic pneumatic systems <li> <li>General working knowledge of computerstechnology eg Microsoft Excel Word Project etc<li> <li>Being able to adapt to highstress environment and weather fluctuations construction site<li> <li>Must
