providing recommendations on system solutions or procedures As the liaison between the business and IT department the Senior Business Analyst ensures that the scope of work requested to enhance or modify existing application processes are clearly documented communicated and validated The Senior Business Analyst works closely with IT experts to design develop document test and validate solutions that meet business requirements and may be asked to lead projects and mentor other Business Analysts <p> <p><b>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES<b> <p> <ul><li>Acts as a liaison with stakeholders to analyze the needs of various functional business areas while enhancing software and reinforcing business standards<li> <li>Creates detailed documentation of functional system nonfunctional user and reporting requirements that may include but is not limited to Use Cases Logical Models Process Flow Diagrams Report Specifications and Data Mapping amp Flow Diagrams<li> <li>Performs research and analysis for proposed projects to determine feasibility and durability<li> <li>Performs profiling and analysis of data from source systems<li> <li>Ensures that solution requirements area clearly documented communicated and validated<li> <li>Supports quality assurance and control efforts using data analysisprofiling as part of pre and postimplementation reviews Provides support to functional and user acceptance testing groups throughout development life cycle<li> <li>Assists with the creation of value proposition ROI for proposed projects<li> <li>Helps the team to define and control scope for development initiatives and release schedule<li> <li>Works jointly with other IT Managers to create detailed work plans for software development and enhancement projects<li> <li>Customize and enhance reporting functionalities within the overall solution with a focus on tools like Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence OTBI BI Publisher BIP and Power BI<li> <li>Provide training to endusers on utilizing Oracle ERP reporting features including OTBI and BIP<li> <li>Offer ongoing support to address user queries issues and enhancement requests related to reporting<li> <li>Responsible for status reporting knowledge transfer and implementation plans as appropriate for the software solution being developed<li> <li>Builds and maintains relationships with software application vendors and implementation partners<li> <li>Instructs directs guides and checks the work of Business Analysts<li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned or apparent<li> <ul><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS<b> <p> <ul><li>Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in Oracle ERP implementations with a focus on reporting<li> <li>Excellent leadership analytical and problemsolving skills<li> <li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders<li> <li>Strong understanding of Oracle ERP modules particularly those related to reporting and analytics including OTBI and BIP<li> <li>Experience using Structured Query Language SQL for data analysis<li> <li>Business Analysis or Project Management Professional certification preferred<li> <ul><p><b>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<b> <p> <ul><li>Bachelors degree in business administration computer engineering information systems finance statistics computer science or a related field or equivalent experience<li> <li>Minimum of 5 years of direct work experience in a business analyst capacity working with business systems related to systems support analysis or development<li> <li>Minimum of 1 year project
