will lead the global payroll function at Plusgrade You have 5 to 10 years managing a payroll team coupled with accounting knowledge to fill this important rolenbsp You will be responsible for the WILL BE DOING<b><p><p>Reporting to the VP Controller this role will be responsible for the following<p><p><br><p><p>• Review and resolve issues relating to the semimonthly payrolls in Canada and the US biweekly payrolls in the UK and monthly payrolls in Germany Dubai Singapore and Israel<p><p>• Manage mentor and coach the Payroll Analyst<p><p>• Ensure compliance with current and changing payroll regulations in all countries serviced and raise any concerns to adopt and implement<p><p>• Lead the implementation of a new global payroll system and the related integrations Bamboo Sunlife etc<p><p>• Work with the Treasury team to ensure timely and sufficient funding of all payroll bank accounts and assist in the cash forecasting of payrollrelated items<p><p>• Ensure all Group RRSP UK pensions and 401k contributions are reconciled and remitted<p><p>• Review and preparation of monthend payrollrelated journal entries in Oracle NetSuite accounting systemnbsp<p><p>• Review the reconciliations of the related balance sheet accounts<p><p>• Prepare all payrollrelated remittances for all jurisdictions<p><p>• Reconcile all social taxes on a monthly basis for every jurisdiction applicable EY handles the small payrolls<p><p>• Ensure compliance with Payroll process SOX controls and continue to strengthen the controls while ensuring efficiency<p><p>• Correspond with fellow employees on any payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner<p><p>• Act as a liaison between the Finance and HR departments<p><p>• If applicable lead the transition of payroll operations for any newly acquired companies<p><p><br><p><p><br><p><p><b>YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH<b><p><p>• Payroll Certification CPP PCP or CPM<p><p>• 5 to 10 years experience managing a global payroll team<p><p>• Strong analytical
