Analytics department This position is based out of <strong>Richmond VA<strong> or we are <strong>open to remote work arrangements <strong> <p> <p><strong>What youll be doing<strong> <p> <ul><li>Utilize various data sources to conduct descriptive and diagnostic analyses to derive insights and inform business decisions <li> <li>Leverage big data cloud computing resources to design test and implement innovative analytical solutions that measure predict and influence business outcomes <li> <li>Integrate a variety of data sources eg retail pointofsale shipments financial consumer geospatial to proactively evaluate and identify consumer marketing business opportunities <li> <li>Lead the application of advanced analytical methods including machine learning and statistical techniques to develop consumercentric insights <li> <li>Synthesize and effectively communicate analyses to business leaders enabling datadriven decision making <li> <li>Collaborate with brand marketing and data engineering teams to define scope and deliver datadriven solutions aligned with multiple priorities <li> <li>Support the productionalization and deployment of analytical model solutions while ensuring their ongoing tracking maintenance and efficacy <li> <li>Tackle adhoc analytics requests from stakeholders leveraging advanced techniques <li> <li>Serve as a critical thinking partner with teammates and share business knowledge expertise <li> <ul><p><strong>What we want you to have<strong> <p> <ul><li>Bachelors degree preferably in Decision Science Analytics Economics Statistics Computer Science Applied Mathematics or related field Masters or other graduatelevel degree is a plus <li> <li>2 3+ years of progressively responsible experience with data analysis andor relevant CPG experience is an advantage <li> <li>Have a good understanding of sales and marketplace subject area and data sets which fall in this domain <li> <ul><ul><li>Have a strong working knowledge of programming languages like SQL or Python familiarity with Apache Spark amp Databricks is preferred <li> <li>Have a strong understanding of machine learning statistical and econometric principles with practical knowledge of when how and why to apply advanced analyses <li> <li>Confidence and courage to engage in discussions and debates across all levels of the organization <li> <li>Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with technical and nontechnical partners <li> <ul><p>In addition to the opportunity to apply and develop
